When is the best time to visit Split?

July and August bring the warmest sea and liveliest nightlife, but also the highest prices and busiest beaches. May, June, and September offer warm days, swimmable water, and lower rates. Because of that, the shoulder season is the best value for most travelers. A heated pool is worth checking if you plan an April or October stay, as it keeps swimming comfortable when the sea has cooled.
