Villa Amor

Lovely villa with a perfect location by the sea and enough room for a larger group. We were 13 people, including a baby and a toddler, vacationing together to celebrate my parents' birthdays. The customer service was excellent; we were able to check in earlier than expected, had 2 baby beds instead of one, and all my questions were answered quickly. Ivana really made us feel welcome. We used Chef Martin’s services and had a delicious Croatian family-style birthday dinner at the villa. Martin suggested the menu, and we all loved it - everything looked and tasted amazing. Extra credit for the beautiful local wines and the best-ever pesto. For a family vacation, the villa is perfect: nice views and awesome sunsets, spacious rooms, enough space to eat and spend time together, and plenty of things to explore nearby.

First visit to Croatia for a group of 12 family & friends to celebrate hubby's 60th . wow did we make the best decision . villa amor was the perfect villa , clean , spacious ,beautiful pool area ,and close to all amenities , restaurants , bars , water sports , island trips by boat , split and omis on the number 60 bus was easy to use . right on the waters edge the villa had everything we could of wished for . Ivana was really helpful as our host and the breads, meats and locally made liquor was a lovely surprise on our late arrival . Chef Martin came and cooked our evening meal on the Sunday, a surprise for my husband and guests , it was amazing . finished off by dolphins 🐬 giving us a display right in front of the villa . Bruno a local guy organised boat trips , jet skis and airport taxis for us without hesitation , even coming to arrange trips with us at the villa .With no negative comments at all and a big thankyou to everyone we shall deffinately be returning to Croatia

Villa was just as described. Good location right onto sea front with public path running in front of villa. Direct access to the sea. Local restaurants available within 5-10 mins walk, some better quality ones a little further. Small mini market next door. Larger Tommy supermarket 15 mins walk away. Better supermarket available in Omis a 25 min bus ride away. Buses run right past to both Omis (worth visiting) and Split every 15 mins or so in high season. Couldnt really fault the villa. Met by owner on arrival and everything was explained to us by her son. Would recommend.

Pleasant welcome and great hospitality. You have the feeling of a hotel even if you live in a large house by the beach. Used Chef Martin in connection with a celebration and he delivers. Recommends using it during your stay. One of the best places at Podstrana, the house and rooms lived up to expectations. We only have positive feedback. We used the outdoor area for all the meals and the lawn was great to be on for young and old. The pool is just right for the 13 of us who were there. 10 m to the sea is great. Remember swimming shoes. In Croatia/Split, mobile coverage a bit challenging. 4 and 5G are not the same all over the world. The wifi that is in the house could be better, that's probably the only thing we can criticize.

Vi vil takke for et fantastisk opphold på Villa Amor. Vi var 8 voksne og 6 barn (3 generasjoner) på familietur. Huset og omgivelsene var helt topp og stemte med både bilder og tidligere anmeldelser. 7 soverom med egne bad gav følelsen av frihet og romslighet. Velutstyrt kjøkken og huset som helhet oste av god kvalitet. Nydelig skyggefull utvendig spiseplass ble brukt til de fleste måltidene. I tillegg kan vi absolutt anbefale nyåpnet restaurant (Marinac) som lå 5 minutters gangtid langs strandpromenaden mot nord. Vi var ikke fullt så fornøyd med festmåltidet vi fikk laget på huset av kokk Martin. Bassenget, hagen og nærheten til sjøen ble flittig brukt både til vannaktiviteter (SUP, seiling, bading) og lek i stranden. Helt supert. Tidvis mye kø i trafikken både mot Split og Omis. Følg med på Google Maps sin veibeskrivelse. Vi brukte Bruno som kontaktperson i forbindelse med transport til og fra flyplassen. Fungerte meget bra. Vi kan absolutt anbefale Villa Amor!

Sehr gute Unterkunft, sauber und gut Ei gerichtet! Perfekt für Gruppen und Familien. Freundliche Vermieter. Es besteht die Möglichkeit einen Koch in die Villa zu bestellen, der ein 3-Gänge-Menü zubereitet - auch das ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Es hat uns sehr gut in der Villa Amor gefallen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und sauber gewesen. Das einzige was etwas gestört hat ist die Lage an der Straße, die man nachts sehr gehört hat. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden. Viele Grüße aus Andernach Manuela Müller

We had a fantastic week at Villa Amor in Podstrana. The booking process and communication has been smooth throughout. Our host at Villa Amor (Ivana) was excellent.

Our group of 12 adults and one 4 month old, spent 9 nights here celebrating my husband's birthday. Villa Amor has been furnished with the utmost care and consideration. It was immaculate upon arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of plates and glasses, pots, platters, etc. Everything is in excellent condition: like-new and a pleasure to use. There was always plenty of hot water in the showers. Whilst we enjoyed the pool, it was still too cool for most of our group to use, but those who did, really enjoyed it. The pool table and table tennis were also well used. We hired Chef Martin in advance to cook our birthday dinner in the villa. We are all foodies and every one of us was incredibly impressed with the dishes. This meal really made the birthday extra special and we highly recommend hiring Chef Martin if you want to be spoiled. He works with you to create a menu or he is also happy to prepare and drop off meals. Either way, you are in for a treat!

Täydellinen talo! Juhlimme äitimme 70-vuotis juhlia kahden perheen voimin. Teinejä 6 matkassa, jotka viihtyivät erittäin hyvin. Talon pingis, biljardi ja uima-allas sai teinit viihtymään erittäin hyvin! Talon upeat puitteet ja avaruus teki lomasta täydellisen! Ivanan kanssa asiointi ennen, jälkeen ja matkan aikana toimi hyvin. Käytimme chef Martinin palvelua yhden illan illalliselle - todellakin suuri suositus! 🤩👌 Paikallisbussilla pääsi hyvin liikkumaan, bussipysäkit oli lähellä taloa ja 50m päässä oli pikku kauppa mistä sai kaiken tarvittavan 👍

Et nyderlig sted. Rent og pent. Alt du trengte var på plass. Kan varmt anbefales til andre. Reiser tilbake neste år med stor familien. Var litt uheldig med at de satte i gang arbeid akkurat vår uke på strandpromenaden med graving og veldig bråk men det har jo ikke noe med det flotte huset å gjøre. Regner med det er ferdig til neste år❤️😊takk for oss.

The property was everything and more than we expected. House was very large and having each bedroom as en-suite was a luxury. House was very clean. Wonderful vine shade really helped as we had a heat wave. I would definitely recommend a car. Public transport was not great. Would definitely return.

Hanne The villa and the situation was superb! My late teenage sons enjoyed the stay so much they did not even want to leave the villa. Time flied swimming, playing football in the grass field, playing table tennis, sub boarding ect. And one extra ordinary thing was the co- operation with chef Martins’ hostel and restaurant. Our flight was due several hours before check in. Martin contacted us and offerd the possibility to spend the time at his place. The food was already waiting for us. Martin also brought the meal ( three course menu) when wanted to our villa and plated it for us. Perfect service and overwhelming hospitality and frendlines. Can highly recommend!

superlage direkt am meer haus modern und gross.mit genügend platz im innen und aussenbereich bilder entsprechen der wirklichkeit aussenbereich wird jeden zweiten tag in aller frühe sehr leise und gründlich gereinigt ,ausreichend schattenplätze haus ist auch sehr sauber,genügend handtücher und pooltücher a küche; genügend geschirr für grosse gruppen vorhanden restaurant (im hotel neva) zwei häuser weiter,ebenso ein minimarkt gleich daneben(trotzdem auto empfohlen) gastgeberin IVANA : immer erreichbar,gibt gute tipps,zb zu bootsausflügen etc, an dieser stelle:vielen dank IVANA,wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! rating:auf jeden fall alle zu vergebenen sterne

We really liked Villa Amor in Podstrana. The house is very well furnished and everything is very clear. it has enough parking space and the house itself and around the house is very clean. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and have everything you need. especially the kitchen was well equipped, wonderful for me as a cook. what was really great is that if we did something on the grill in the evening, the grill was already cleaned and clean the next morning. Ivana, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and even gave us a nice cold platter with raw ham, cheese, etc. and very fine liqueurs :-) The location of Villa Amor is perfect with direct access to the beach/sea. various supermarkets can also be reached in a short time, the airport is only 30 minutes away and the city of split is absolutely beautiful and worth seeing with good restaurants, shops etc. We are planning to come back in 2023 and have another week vacation at Villa Amor.

Feriehome great site to book on excellent communication throughout and Villa exactly as seen in photos The villla is Absolutely amazing and has everything you need for an enjoyable relaxing stay Everyone in the group was super impressed with fixtures fittings and the place is spotlessly clean Welcome pack was so thoughtful and much appreciated and the Host is excellent and could not be more accommodating We booked Chef Martin who was recommended on the site and food was fabulous so for anyone who wants to be catered for at home would thoroughly recommend as Five star quality food and generous portions All in all delivered on every level and we had a fantastic time

What a lovely home and extraordinary location. We were greeted with delicious spread of local snacks and drinks. Ivana was highly responsive via messaging to any needs or inquiries. The Villa is exactly as presents in the photos and description regarding rooms, space, amenities, etc. The property was extremely clean inside and out. The views are magical, from inside the house, the balconies and the garden. We were only 1 family and the space far exceeded our needs; the Villa would easily accommodate multiple groups with a balance of private rooms and bathrooms and shared spaces. We stayed in April, lucked out with beautiful weather and my kids lived in the pool, which warmed a little each day. We fully enjoyed an abundant meal prepared by Chef Martin (contact available via Ivana) and delivered to the house, as well as an incredible boat charter arranged via Bruno (another contact via Ivana). Can't say enough about the graciousness of the host, as well as Martin and Bruno. They go out of their way to welcome and accommodate and make your vacation 5 star. The location is an easy drive to Split, as well as Omiš, and we enjoyed both. A couple items worth mentioning- shoulder season found much of the beach huts and cafes not yet open, but there was still one cafe a 10 min walk that serves coffee and drinks. Small convenience type mart a couple doors down and a larger grocery store requiring a short drive. Also, the pool table and table tennis we thoroughly enjoyed, but they are in detached garages in front of the house which are on a driveway open and leading to the road with no enclosure, notable for those who may have younger children. Not a single negative thing to say about our experience at Villa Amor. If there was one small notation, it would be to be aware of the house being located directly off the very busy main road and if you are sensitive to road noise, either in the front bedrooms or in the outdoor lounge area, then this should be a consideration. It did not bother us or hinder or experience in any way. Thank you, Ivana, and Team Villa Amor. We spent a great week in September 2021 at Villa Amor. The villa met our expectations in 100%. Everything was as described on the website. Very clean, great facilities, great location, the sea at your fingertips, a well-stocked shop 100m away. We felt very comfortable. Very good contact with our host. Mirjana at Ferie Home couldn’t have been more helpful and replied to all my emails so quickly. She was really flexible on our booking as the covid situation kept changing. And this really helped to ease my worries. As for Villa Amor. We were a family group of 16 with age range from 1-70 and were welcomed by Martin (a local chef) when we arrived tired at 8.30pm. He had prepared a lovely meal and laid the table under the grapevine. Best of all old beer and wine were in the fridge. The villa was all we hoped. Spacious, well equipped with a fantastic pool and garden. The sea was literally a metre from the gate. We swam every morning in the crystal clear water. This was the first holiday we didn’t hire cars as the well equipped supermarket was 2 minutes walk and bars and restaurants all within 5 minutes. I really highly recommend Ferie Home and Villa Amor. Excellent experience, amazing views and nice owner. All those factors made our holidays amazing time. We were group of 14 friends and everyone seemed to like it on the same high level. The house itself looks exactly as on photos and facilities are like brand new. The only difference are lacking palm trees what for me made a view a bit less luxurious but rest of friends didn't mind. Highly recommend :)

Lovely villa with superb position. Kitchen a little small for large group but rest of the villa has acres of space. Swimming pool great and outside dining under vines that shade you even better. Had a thoroughly enjoyable week.

We had a perfect stay at Villa Amor. The hosts are lovely and so is the House. The location couldn’t be more beautiful. Also we really enjoyed the dinners at the beach at Martin‘s. He goes out to catch fresh fish and cooks it with yummy sides.
