It is a very well-equipped property furnished with high-quality and carefully selected materials, fully air-conditioned with free WiFi, and it can comfortably accommodate 10+2 people.
The updated and very innovative architectural design of the extremely beautiful Villa Madre offers stronger connections with the landscape and the place while maintaining the integrity of the original structure of the plot, with panoramic views across the green valley and town of Imotski from every corner of the property. The very bright and extremely pleasant interior is provided by big glass walls toward the pool, connecting the interior with the spacious outdoors.
-Villa Madre offers several outdoor areas exclusively for you:
*The outdoors (pool level): A private and heated mineral pool (Magnapool system) that has a large number of useful minerals instead of Chlorine, so the water will take on the familiar "silky smooth" feeling. Mineral pools have been recommended by medical experts and athletes for their surprisingly wide range of health benefits, so come and enjoy the panoramic views while relaxing in this huge pool (12m x 6m, 1.5m deep) with Hydromassage. The sundeck area is spacious, partially covered with nice pebbles, there are 12 deck chairs and an outdoor shower, and the views from the pool area are spectacular. Panoramic views of the green valley, vineyards, and the village.
NOTE: The pool water temperature, even with heating, can be affected by weather and seasonal conditions. Therefore, specific pool temperatures cannot be guaranteed.
There is a covered area (77sqm) with an outdoor kitchen, a traditional barbecue (woods and charcoal), a huge flat-screen TV with surround speakers, a dining table for 12 people, a lounge corner for a really nice feeling while enjoying al-fresco, and a Billiard (Pool table) for some fun. There is also a separate toilet outside.
* The Rooftop outdoors (230sqm) is approached by an outdoor staircase, and it is fully fenced. It offers outdoor gym equipment, a Whirlpool for 5 people, 2 deck chairs and a few lazy bags, a lounge corner that is shaded together with another summer kitchen, and a separate toilet. The view from the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking, overlooking 360 degrees around this unspoiled neighborhood. You can simply enjoy the views and a pleasant summer breeze all day on this terrace.
* There is also a playground for the younger members of your group: An Outdoor multi-court (mini football, tennis, and basketball court) with a ball gate and basket surrounded by a high protective fence brightly illuminated with spotlight lamps at night is a perfect spot for your juniors. Next to it is a small playground with a slide for your youngest and also a table tennis. Both are located behind the villa next to the covered parking lot.

* The living area is 104sqm and offers a comfortable living room with a smart TV, comfortable sofas, air-conditioning, a dining area for 10 people, a kitchen island, and a spacious and fully equipped kitchen offering all you need for your culinary expertise (microwave, dishwasher, oven, fridge, kettle, espresso DeLonghi coffee machine, vine cooler...and more). There is a separate toilet, a washing machine, and a dryer too. There is a direct approach to the outdoor dining area and pool area from the indoors.
* The hallway takes you to the sleeping area with 4 bedrooms, each offering a king-size bed 180cm x 210cm, a TV, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a make-up table. Each bedroom size is 23.5 sqm, and from each, you have a glass door toward the grass plot and toward the pool area. Lovely and unspoiled green surroundings are overview from the bedrooms. The 5th Bedroom (37.5sqm) has a separate entrance from the outdoors and it offers a king-size bed 180cm x 210cm, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a Play station, and a sofa that can convert into a sofa bed. A lovely Media room so your Teenagers can have their own fun zone.
The living and sleeping areas are organized on the ground floor, and still, the whole property offers so many different areas so even larger groups could enjoy all together while barbecuing, or separately each enjoying their own preferred private moments on some of the various places offered indoors or outdoors. A very well-organized property with so many to offer, but most appreciated would be peaceful and quiet surroundings, and spectacular panoramic views of Zmijavci village and the Imotski area.
The neighborhood of village Zmijavci (Makarska hinterland) is very friendly and unspoiled and you can easily be drawn into a relaxed way of living in this rural area. You are located only 6 km from the natural phenomenon Red Lake and Blue Lake in Imotski town (6km from the villa), the sinkhole lakes that are very much worth visiting.
The nearest minimarket is only 500m from the villa, just like the nearest restaurant and bar that are located by the Vrljika River. The most beautiful beaches in the amazing Baska Voda and Makarska Riviera with the clean and warm sea are around 28 km away (less than 30 min driving). The highway exit Zagvozd is 16km away where you can also try white water Rafting at Cetina River, you are 12km from the Golf court in Posušje, 40 min drive to Makarska (38km), a 1.2-hour drive to the famous town Split with its great historical attractions like Diocletian Palace, 2.5-hour drive to well-known town Dubrovnik, so you have many options for exploring one of many well known Croatian localities.
Places to visit in the Imotski area: The Basilica of Zmijavci is a small archeological site, and it is located 500m from the villa. The basilica dates from the 6th century and is one of the finest early Christian remains throughout the Imotski area. Vinery Glavota is a great place to spend evenings, with a perfect local ambient and nice vines. If you prefer some action, you can ride bikes as there are many nice cycling trails in this area, followed by amazing nature and river Vrljika, or you can even try some off-road tours with buggies.
If you prefer the mountain area there is a park of nature Biokovo just above Makarska so this can be your day tour because the view from this mountain is awesome, you can see a lot of islands and the coast is just beautiful, so visiting the mountain Biokovo provides a unique experience. You can visit a new attraction from the East side of Biokovo, a Skywalk Biokovo, a horseshoe-shaped glass walkway that juts out over a precipitous slope opening out towards the coast, affording breath-taking views.
