Situated in the small village of Zmijavci, just 6 km from the town of Imotski—famous for the Red and Blue Lakes natural phenomenon—this location is well-liked by families seeking a peaceful family vacation in the countryside, with the mountain Biokovo standing between them and the coast. However, it is still just a short drive (28 km) from the most stunning beaches in Brela and the Makarska coast. The closest mini market, restaurant, and bar are all 500 meters away from you.

* The OUTDOORS offers an infinity, private, and heated swimming pool 11mx 4,5m, a sun deck area with 8 deck chairs, a Whirlpool (Hot tub), a covered outdoor dining area with a TV, a covered lounge corner with a barbecue (charcoal/wood), covered area with Table tennis for some fun.
Please note that the pool water temperature, even with heating, can be affected by weather conditions and seasons. Therefore, specific pool temperatures cannot be guaranteed.
* The FIRST floor features a fully furnished kitchen with a kitchen island, a dining table that seats ten people, a balcony with breathtaking views of the Imotski Valley and the woods, and a very comfortable and stylish living area with a sofa and TV. There is a Bedroom No1 (17sqm) with a queen-sized bed 160cm x 200cm, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, A/C, TV, and a balcony with pool views. Bedroom NO2 (17 sqm) with a queen-sized bed 160cm x 200cm, en-suite bathroom with a shower, A/C, TV, and a balcony with pool views. Bedroom NO3 (17 sqm) with a queen-sized bed 160cm x 200cm, en-suite bathroom with a shower, A/C, and views of the natural surroundings. Bedroom NO4 (17 sqm) with two single beds 90cm x 200cm that can connect into a 180cm x 200cm, en-suite bathroom with a shower, A/C, and views of the natural surroundings. There is also a separate toilet next to the living room.
* The GROUND floor (pool level) can be accessed via an internal staircase from the living area or the parking lot. It features a fully functional kitchen with a kitchen island, a media room with a sofa, a TV, and a PlayStation 4 (where we also offer two additional sleeping places), and a sliding door leading to the pool area. Next to it is a fun zone with a Billiard (Pool table), darts, a TV and bar table, and a bathroom with a shower. Next to it is a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer.
There is a parking lot for 6 cars and a car is recommended. There is video surveillance at the entrance to the property.
The nearest highway exit/entrance to Villa Hillside Gem is Zagvozd (16km or 15 minutes from the property) and that makes everything very convenient to reach. You are 1h drive from the famous town Split with its great history and well-kept Diocletian Palace (85km with the highway), 1:30h drive from Krka waterfalls (Skradin), and 2:20h drive from the well-known town Dubrovnik. There exists a park of nature named Biokovo situated above Makarska, which can serve as a day tour. The view from this mountain is breathtaking, offering a multitude of islands and a stunning coastline. Thus, visiting Biokovo provides a unique experience. Biokovo Mountain Skywalk is a new attraction in Nature Park near Makarska at 1228 meters above sea level. It is around a one-hour drive from the villa. This observation tower is constructed from prestressed reinforced concrete and stretches over a cliff with a view of the Makarska Riviera, Adriatic, islands, and the open sea. A glass walkway has been laid on the primary concrete structure to provide a bird's eye view in all directions. This creates a unique adrenaline experience. It is also possible to visit two locations in Bosnia and Hercegovina that are within close proximity and well-worth visiting, namely the renowned sanctuary Medugorje or the distinctly oriental old streets of Mostar with its renowned bridge, both of which are within a driving distance of approximately 1 to 1:20 hours.
